Crafting with Aluminum Cans-Crazy Mountain Brewery
Mountain Livin’ Pale Sale-Crazy Mountain Brewing
Crazy Mountain Amber Ale
Here are two more of the cards I created using beer cans from Crazy Mountain Brewing Company in Denver, CO
One of my favorite crafting techniques is to cut shapes out of aluminum cans and add them to my card creations.

Here’s a video on how to cut the cans:
I’m always on the lookout for interesting designs and colors on aluminum cans.
Fortunately, my husband is a craft beer drinker and is always bringing home new beers to try. Often, these beers have interesting labels on the cans. My husband drinks the beer, then I confiscate the cans to create!
The cans from Crazy Mountain Brewing Co. are some of my favorites to craft with as they always have an interesting mix of animals on the cans.
Here is what the cans looked like before I cut them up.
The Mountain Livin’ creature is Jeremiah, a mix of mountain goat, elk, and pika.
The Crazy Mountain creature is Sheamus, a mix of owls, mule deer, and bobcats.
It was easy to match SU! colors with both designs.
For Jeremiah, I used Soft Suede and Soft Sea Foam paired with Woodlands embossing folder.
For Sheamus, I used Balmy Blue and Crushed Curry paired with a Seaside embossing Folder.
I used brads from my stash to attach the card fronts to the card bases.
Fun!
