Controlled Painting with Brusho Crystals and Winter Woods

Here are 2 more cards created using the controlled painting with Brusho Crystal Color technique.

Please see my original posting using Sheltering Tree Here

For these cards, I lightly sprinkled Brilliant Blue and Moss Green Brusho Crystal Colors on my watercolor card front.

I started with the center tree first, sprinkling the Brusho about where I knew I would be stamping.

I then spritzed the pine tree image from Winter Woods (carry-over from the Holiday Catalog) lightly with water and stamped.

I then did the same for the right tree, then the left tree.

Again, don’t get your stamp too wet as the colors will run.

You can always add a little more Brusho (remember, a little goes a long way), and stamp again with a moist stamp if desired.

And, you can pull and move the color around with a paint brush if needed.

You can also over stamp the outline image again using the pine tree and a darker color of ink.

I tested it here using Mossy Meadow ink:

I personally liked them plain, so I skipped this step.

For the first card, I sponged Balmy Blue and Pool Party inks around the trees.

I left the background alone on the second card.

I prefer the white background.
