Animal Outing Card in a Box

Our granddaughter Madysen recently turned two!

One of the things she and her parents like to do is visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs.

They have a family pass, so they go quite often.

Her favorite animals at the zoo are the giraffe!

So, once I saw the giraffe image in the  Animal Outing Bundle, I knew I had to get it.

For her 2nd birthday card, I created this fun little zoo animal card in a box.

The critters were stamped using Memento black ink, then cut out using the Big Shot and coordinating Animal Friends Thinlits Dies.

I then colored them using watercolor pencils and an aqua painter.

They are attached to the box with pieces of Adhesive Strips.

The background paper comes from Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.

I created the greeting on my computer and printed it out on regular computer paper.  I stamped the leaf image using Mint Macaron ink.

Leaves were cut out of Tranquil Tide card stock and attached to the sides using Tombow Multi-purpose glue.
