Stampin’ Up! Grid Paper
It’s a great way to cover your work surface.
But what can you do with it once it has been used and is covered with ink?
Don’t throw it away!
Instead, cut it up and use it to make new creations!
For the card above, I was testing using different colors on the ink splotch image found in the stamp set Happy Celebrations.
I tapped on Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, and Marina Mist inks onto the stamp, then spritzed it with water and stamped onto the grid sheet paper.
Oh, I really liked that, so I alternated the colors and stamped again.
I liked the way the colors popped with the black grid marks found on the paper.
I trimmed the paper down, then added a butterfly I cut out using my Big Shot and Butterfly and Bold Butterfly Framelits dies using a Dimensional to pop it up.
The solid butterfly was cut out of Berry Burst card stock with the detailed overlay cut out of Basic Black card stock.
I stamped the greeting from Butterfly Basics using Archival Black ink. This is one of my favorite sentiments, and I use it often.
The grid paper was layered to a Basic Black mat, then added to a Berry Burst card front.
Easy!
