The Baby Wipe Technique is one of my favorite stamping techniques.

I lay them flat, let them dry and use them in my crafting.

I know to some it looks like something that should be thrown away, but not to me!

Recycle and reuse, right?

The baby wipe I used for this card was left over from one of the baby wipes I used for a recent class.

Be sure to see that project HERE!

To me, it looked like tie-dye.

But, it also looked like one of the stormy skies we sometimes see here in the mountains of Southern Colorado.

So, I decided to create my little mountain scene.

So, to start crafting with it, I first applied glue from a glue stick onto a piece of regular card stock, then placed my used baby wipe on the glue and patted it down so it would stick.

By doing this, I was able to cut the piece down for my project.  You need the baby wipe on a thicker surface to cut it down with a paper cutter or scissors.

I left it a little longer on the bottom so I could build my landscape scene right on the wipe.

I cut mountains, hills, and trees out of Whisper White, Crumb Cake, and Garden Green card stock using my Big Shot and Outdoor Adventure Framelits Dies.

To create the snowy foreground, I simply tore a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the greeting from Wish Big using Melon Mambo ink.

Then, I was ready to build my landscape.

I simply layered them on top of the baby wipe using Dimensionals to pop up each layer.  After the scene was built, I trimmed down the two sides to even them up.  Then, I layered it onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock, then layered it onto my Crumb Cake card base.

Love the bold colors and texture on this one!
