Emboss Resist is one of my favorite stamping techniques.
Easy to do and it provides that WOW factor!
Heat emboss images stamped with Versamark using white embossing powder and then sponge on different inks, buff off excess ink, and then you’re left with an image that pops!

For this emboss resist card, I used the bold stamp Definitely Dahlia. The colors sponged on were Island Indigo, Cucumber Crush, and Wisteria Wonder.
You can really see the added interest in texture that the embossing brings to the card.
The greeting was stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock in Island Indigo ink and then lightly sponged with Cucumber Crush to soften the look. It was matted with Island Indigo and popped up using Dimensionals.
I hope you’ll give the Emboss Resist Technique a try. Please share your results!
