Create a pretty pastel background using the stamp set Dragonfly Dreams and the Emboss Resist Technique.
Super easy and it is one of those WOW techniques.
To start, I swiped my Whisper White card front using the Embossing Buddy, stamped the dragonfly image from Dragonfly Dreams in Versmark ink, and then heat embossed using white embossing powder.
Then, with a sponge, I added my Marina Mist, Wisteria Wonder and Cucumber Crush inks over the embossed images.
When I was done, I rubbed off the ink from the embossed images with a paper towel making the white image pop. The ink will resist where the image has been embossed.
The piece was attached to an Elegant Eggplant mat and added to the Whisper White card base using Dimensionals. The greeting from Wish Big was stamped using Elegant Eggplant ink.
The Emboss Resist is an easy way to add interest to any background. Color combinations are endless. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
