A quick and easy card using the Ombre Watercolor Wash Technique with a dragonfly inlay.
Recently, I was cleaning up my craft table, and I came across a scrap piece of ombre wash watercolor paper.
This piece was created by swiping Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant inks over a piece of watercolor paper using an Aqua Painter.
I also had a Whisper White dragonfly left over from another project, so I instantly knew that I should pair them up to create a quick and easy card.
I cut the dragonfly out of the watercolor wash paper using the intricate dragonfly from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Die. I mounted the piece onto a Rich Razzelberry matting. Then I simply inserted the white detailed dragonfly into the cutout, adhering it with my Fine Tip Glue.
Now, my white dragonfly has Rich Razzleberry showing through its wings!
Love how the dragonfly really pops on the bold background!
Then, I placed the matted piece onto my Whisper White card front, using Dimensionals to pop it up. The greeting comes from Love and Affection and was stamped in Rich Razzleberry.
