I was so glad to see copper embossing powder in the Stampin’ Up! catalog again!
To celebrate, this is one of the cards we created for my recent New Catalog Stamp a Stack.
It also features the new stamp set Love and Affection and the pretty coordinating Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Paper.
The flowers were stamped on vellum card stock using Versamark, then heat embossed with copper embossing powder. The centers and the greeting were then stamped using Night of Navy ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. Remember regular ink will never dry on vellum. You need to heat emboss it or use Stazon ink.
I have a whole spool of copper cording that retired a few years back, so we used it. There is some pretty Copper Metallic Thread in the current catalog that could be used as an alternative.
