Pocketful of Hearts Valentine’s Day Card

Pocketful of Hearts Valentine’s Day Card

Pocketful of Hearts Valentine's Day Card

I made this sweet Pocketful of Hearts Valentine’s Day card for our 4-year-old granddaughter, Madysen.

I cut the pocket out of Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (part of the Berry Delightful Bundle, a Sale-A-Bration choice available through the end of February) using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and the retired Pocket die.

The leaves and stems were cut out of Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam card stock using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and Wrapped Flowers Dies.

I used a small heart punch to create the heart “flowers.”

They were punched out of Real Red and Flirty Flamingo card stock, and the Rococco Rose design found in Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (another Sale-A-Bration choice).

I added a small strip of Real Red card stock to finish off the top of the pocket, plus added some enamel shapes dies from my stash.

The greeting is from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes.

This card just makes me smile, and I hope Miss Madysen will like it!

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
