Aluminum Can Snowflakes-Big Shot Project Revisited

Aluminum Can Snowflakes-Big Shot Project Revisited

I recently received an order from a customer for aluminum can snowflakes that are cut out using the Big Shot die cut machine.  I was happy to fill this order because this is one of my all-time favorite Big Shot projects.

Aluminum Can Snowflakes-Big Shot Project Revisited

I cut out 6 sets of small, medium, and large snowflakes out of River Runner beer made by Eddyline Brewery and Coca Cola cans using my 2 snowflake dies.  I also cut out a couple of snowflakes using Ginger Ale and Mountain Dew cans as a bonus.  You can’t go wrong with the red and white of the Coke cans for a pretty Christmas feel.  I was really surprised at how pretty the River Runner cans turned out.  They have shades of green, blue, silver and gold.  Plus they are 16 oz so they are taller than the regular-sized pop cans.  Because of this, there is more room to work around the wording on the cans.  The Ginger Ale cans are the worst for wording.  You can see part of the word “ginger” in the snowflake at the top.   Something to consider when you are searching for cans to cut.
