Iris Folded Chili Pepper

Iris Folded Chili Pepper

I just returned from a weekend trip to my home town of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  August and September are chili harvest months in New Mexico.  The aroma of roasting chilis fills the air as grocery stores, farmers markets and roadside stands set up their chili roasters.  There is nothing better than the smell and taste of a freshly roasted chili.  This is one of the things I miss most about not living in New Mexico.

I created these two iris folded cards to celebrate the New Mexico chili harvest.

I am also submitting this card to this week’s CASology “Harvest” challenge.

Here is another one I created using red glimmer paper.  Change up the greeting and this would make a great Christmas card!

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
