I recently needed a quick birthday card for my husband’s best friend from high school. I had seen this idea somewhere online (I apologize, I don’t remember where), for a great embossed background technique. It’s also a perfect technique for those hard to create masculine-themed cards. Simple design, bold colors with a little bit of texture.
This technique is SO easy. Simply rub an Embossing Buddy over a dark-colored piece of card stock. Then, swipe a Versamark pad over the card stock, add different colors of embossing powder and heat emboss. The greeting is from my new favorite stamp set, Chalk Talk.
