Sharing Sunshine Stampin’ Up!
Winter is here. Brrr….
This sweet hello card will help shake off those winter blues and bring a smile.
I used the stamp set Sharing Sunshine, pairing it with a basic borders die for the clouds.
The clouds were cut out of Snowy White Velvet Specialty Paper and have a nice feel and a soft texture.
Here’s How:
- Cut clouds out of Snowy White Velvet Specialty Paper using a die-cut machine and Basic Border die. Stamp greeting from Beauty of Friendship on one of the pieces using Pacific Point ink. I used the Stamparatus.
- Stamp sun rays from Sharing Sunshine stamp set on scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Cinnamon Cider ink. Cut out using a pair of scissors.
- Stamp face on scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Calypso Coral ink for the circle and Pacific Point for the eyes and mouth. Punch out using a 1 1/4″ circle punch.
- Layer using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.
- Create a sky background using a Blending Brush and Pacific Point ink on Basic White card front.
- Attach the sun to the background.
- Attach clouds, slipping the first layer behind the sun. Continue attaching the clouds. Trim the edges to fit the card front if needed.
- Attach piece of Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper to Basic White card base. Mat card front to Pacific Point card stock. Attach to card base.
- Add a glimmer dot to complete.
