Pansy Patch Card

My fabulous Stampin’ Up! Upline Tammy Fite recently posted a Color Challenge for her group, the Nacho Average Stampers.

The colors were Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, and so Saffron.

Here’s How:
  1. Two-step stamp the pansies using the inspiration colors.  Solid image using the lighter color (Balmy Blue and So Saffron), and the detailed image using the darker color (Highland Heather.  Stamp the stamen using Blackberry Bliss ink.
  2. Die-cut flower centers using a die-cut machine and Pansy Dies and attach to center of pansies.
  3. Die-cut leaves using a die-cut machine and Pansy Dies.  Solid image out of Pear Pizzazz and the detailed image out of Garden Green.  Layer using Tombow Glue.
  4. Emboss Balmy Blue card front using die-cut machine and Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  Attach to Highland Heather mat.  Attach to So Saffron card base.
  5. Attach pansies and leaves to the card front using Dimensionals to pop them up.  Stamp greeting using Highland Heather ink.
  6. Add 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to complete.
