Diamond Easel Fold Card
using He’s All That Bundle and He’s the Man Designer Series Paper
A great idea for those hard-to-create masculine-themed cards!
I created this card for my husband’s birthday.
He’s a beer drinker, so the sentiment on the He’s the Mans Designer Series Paper sticker is perfect!
Here’s How to create a Diamond Fold Easel Card:
- Start with a piece of card stock measuring 11″ x 4 1/4″. Score at 5 1/2″, 4 1/4″, and 2 1/8″.
- Measure in 2 1/8″ on the end with the 2 1/8″ score line and mark with a pencil. Draw a line on the diagonal from the mark up to the 4 1/4″ score line on both sides. With scissors, trim off the excess to create a handkerchief point.
- Fold along the score lines: valley fold, mountain fold, valley fold.
- Apply glue between the 5 1/2″ and 4 1/4″ score lines to create the diamond easel fold.
- Decorate:
-Cut a piece of designer paper measuring 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and attach to the top diamond. Only add glue to the bottom part of the designer paper so it pops up.
-Using a 2 1/2″ circle punch, punch a mat for the He’s the Man sticker. Attach the sticker and attach to the card front using Dimensionals to pop it up.
-Cut a strip of designer paper measuring 4″ x 1″ and attach to the area behind the diamond.
-For the inside: cut a piece of matting measuring 3″ x 3″ and designer paper measuring 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″. Layer and attach to the inside of the card.
-Stamp greeting from He’s All That and cut out using die cut machine and All That coordinating die. Attach to inside using Dimensionals to pop it up.
-Add an embellishment to complete.
Done!
The possibilities are endless!
