Z Fold Card Hello Ladybug

The Z Fold card pattern is one of the easiest to create, yet is provides a little extra pop-out interest to your card making.

Create the Z Fold by scoring an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of card stock in half at 4 1/4″, then again at 2 1/8″ and fold.

I paired this Z Fold Card with the Hello Ladybug stamp set and coordinating Ladybug Punch for an easy Mother’s Day card.

Here’s How:

1. Create the Z Fold out of Mossy Meadow card stock.

2. Stamp flowers from Hello Ladybug on 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White card stock using Berry Burst ink.  Stamp dots using Mossy Meadow, and flower centers using Crushed Curry.  Stamp greeting from Celebrating You using Mossy Meadow ink.  Attach insert onto card base.

3. Attach 2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Soft Sea Foam Designer Series Paper to outside panel.

4. Punch ladybug out of Mossy Meadow card stock using Ladybug Punch.  Stamp wings on Basic White card stock using Berry Burst ink.  Color spots using Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker or Stampin’ Blend.  Punch using Ladybug Punch. Attach to ladybug using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.

5. Stamp leaf using Soft Sea Foam ink on 3″ x 3″ square of Basic White card stock.  Stamp dots using Berry Blast ink.  Attach to Mossy Meadow mat.  Attach to card front creating a diamond point.

6. Attach ladybug using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up to complete.
