Meadow Die Mother’s Day Card

Meadow Die Mother’s Day Card

paired with the Share a Milkshake Dies for an easy spring-themed design!

I like when you can use repurpose dies to create another element.

That’s what I did with the “waffle-cone” die found in the Share a Milkshake Dies.

Instead of using it as its original ice cream cone purpose, I used it to create a flower vase filled with spring-time flowers.

Perfect for a Meadow Die Mother’s Day Card!

Here’s How:

1. Die-cut vase out of Pecan Pie card stock using the “waffle-cone” Share a Milkshake Die.  Fold along the score lines, securing with Mini Dimensionals.  Sponge Pecan Pie ink along the edges.

2. Die-cut flowers and leaves out of Mossy Meadow card stock.  Cut two flowers, one out of Old Olive, and the other out of Fresh Freesia.  Cut the flowers from the Fresh Freesia die-cut.  Sponge Gorgeous Grape ink along the edges and then attach to the Old Olive stem using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.

3. Slip leaves and flowers into the flower vase.

4. Attach Subtles Soft Sea Foam 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to Mossy Meadow mat.  Attach to Fresh Freesia card base.

5. Attach flower vase to card front using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.

6. Die-cut butterfly out of Subtles Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper using Meadow die.  Attach to card front using a Mini Dimensional to pop it up.

7. Stamp greeting from Quiet Meadow on Fresh Freesia card stock using Mossy Meadow ink.  Die-cut using Meadow Die.  Attach to flower vase using a Mini Dimensional to pop it up.  Tie a bow out of Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine and attach using a Glue Dot.

8. Stamp greeting from Celebrating You on Fresh Freesia card stock using Mossy Meadow ink.  Attach to Mossy Meadow mat.  Attach to card front.

9. Attach Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels to the flower center and to the greeting.  Attach a decorative dot (from my stash) to the butterfly to complete.
