Happy Spring-Rustic Crate

Happy Spring-Rustic Crate

paired with Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper

Today is the first day of Spring!

It sure doesn’t feel like it here in the mountain of Southern Colorado.

We are calling the latest snowstorm “Snowmageddon 2024,” with 26″ of snow over 2 days.  We’ve plowed out, and now have piles and piles of snow everywhere.

One of the issues; where do you put all the snow??

In celebration of Spring, even though it’ll be delayed here, I created this bright and cheery card using the Rustic Crate stamp set and dies, paired with Perennial Lavender DSP.

Purple is my favorite color, so this packet of DSP makes me smile!

Happy Spring-Rustic Crate How-To

1. Stamp image from Rustic Crate on scrap Basic White card stock using Memento Black ink. Color with Stampin’ Write Markers or Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut using coordinating Rustic Crate die. Stamp greeting on Basic White card stock using Blackberry Bliss ink.  Die-cut using coordinating label die.  Die-cut border out of Gorgeous Grape card stock.  Attach the border to the label.

2. Die-cut crate out of Crumb Cake card stock.  Assemble using Liquid Glue.

3. Die-cut circles out of Basic White and Crumb Cake card stock using Deckled Circles Dies and layer.

4. Attach Perennial Lavender DSP to Gorgeous Grape mat.  Attach to Crumb Cake card base.

5. Attach layered circles to the card front.  Attach the crate using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.  Slip flowers inside the crate, using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.  Attach greeting using Mini Dimensionals.  Tie a bow out of Baker’s Twine (from my stash) and attach using a Glue Dot.

6. Add Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to complete!

Happy Spring!

The possibilities are endless!
