It’s that time of the year again when Stampin’ Up! releases the list of retiring stamp sets, papers, and accessories.
It’s always a bittersweet time of the year as some of our favorite stamp sets will be leaving to make room for new sets in the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

Over the month, I will be sharing creations using some of my favorite retiring stamp sets.
First up, is Oceanfront.
I love creating landscapes, and the stamps in this set make building landscapes easy.
The borderless images are designed to blend seamlessly when slightly stamped over one another, allowing you to build your own seaside panorama.

Ocean Front Sunset How To:
1.Create a mask for the sun: die-cut or punch a circle out of a post-it-note. I used my 1 3/8″ circle punch.
2.Place the circle on a Basic White card base.
3.Stamp the sky using the “sky” stamp using Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral inks.* Stamp the “water” using Pool Party and Coastal Cabana inks.* Stamp the sand using Crumb Cake ink.* Add the grains of sand using Pebbled Path ink. Stamp the grass using Wild Wheat ink.
*I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sky, water, and sand images. I first inked the sky using Flirty Flamingo and stamped a couple of times. Then, added the Calypso Coral to darken the colors. Same with the water. I inked the water using Pool Party and stamped a couple of times. Then, added Coastal Cabana to darken the colors. I inked the sand using Crumb Cake and stamped a couple of times to get a good, inked image.
4. Remove the mask and add Crushed Curry ink using a Blending Brush for the sun.
5. Stamp greeting from Pansy Patch (also retiring) on Basic White card base using Calypso Coral ink.
6. Attach card front to Petal Pink mat, then attach to card base to complete.
Done!
