Blendabilities Storage Box

Blendabilities Storage Box

Create this storage box to hold your Blendabilties,Memento Pad and Color Lifter!

Blendabilities Storage Box

This is the first storage case I created for myself.  Love it!

Blendabilities Storage Box

And this is the 2nd storage case I created for a customer.  She was very pleased to receive it!

A few words about this project:
The pattern for the storage box was created by Bev Adams, and the instructions were created by her.

I found an error on the “Outer Wrapping Back Support.”  Step 18 says “turn to landscape and score at 2 3/8″ and 6 1/4″.  This should read, turn to PORTRAIT and score at 2 3/8″ and 6 1/4”.
I tried to convert her pdf to make this correction and was unable to.

This project is a little time-consuming, but not difficult to do.  It is making boxes.  You will become good at making boxes by the time you are finished!

It uses a lot of card stock (11 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11) and a lot of Sticky Strip.  I used SNAIL Adhesive for parts of the construction, but for the most part, I used Sticky Strip.  You need the extra strength of the Sticky Strip to hold it all together.

Bev’s instructions call for the use of Coaster Board.  This is adhered to the bottom of each of the marker boxes to give them support.  I used the light-weight cardboard that comes with the packets of Designer Series Paper instead.  Each piece measures 3 1/2 x 4 1/2.  You will use 1 full sheet of the 12 x 12 packaging for 6, plus a piece of a 2nd sheet for the 7th.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Have fun!

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
