Happy Valentine’s Day!
For this steampunk Valentine’s Day card, I used Embossing Mats with the Gears & Textures Dies to emboss (not cut) the designs into copper metallic card stock hearts, creating rich texture and an industrial look.
The background features Pecan Pie card stock embossed with the retired Brick Embossing Folder. I highlighted the texture by swiping White Craft Ink across the raised areas and heat embossing with white embossing powder. The edges were finished with VersaMark and copper embossing powder for a distressed, metal-inspired effect.
To complete the card, I die-cut “LOVE” using the Mini Alphabet Dies and popped up the letters with Mini Dimensionals for added dimension.
