One of the simplest ways to add texture and interest to your paper crafting is to use a die-cut machine and embossing folders.
For this card, I embossed a piece of copper foil paper using the Hexagons Embossing Folder from Stampin’ Up! which is one of my all-time favorites!
I love the rich colors on this one.
I paired the embossed copper card front with the flower image from Eastern Palace stamped on a scrap piece of copper foil paper using black Stazon, then it cut out using my Big Shot and the coordinating Eastern Medallion Thinlits Die.
The foliage was cut out of Basic Black card stock using a die from the Pretty Pines Thinlits.
The bee was cut out of Basic Black card stock using the bee die from Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.
I heat-embossed the greeting from Eastern Palace using copper embossing powder on a strip of Basic Black card stock.
This card was really easy to put together.
I just let the Hexagon Embossing Folder do most of the heavy lifting for me!
