I seem to be saving every little piece of left-over card stock and or ribbon to use on future projects. That is not always a good thing as it almost has become a compulsion. My file folders of scrap paper and my ribbon drawer are quickly filling up and getting out of hand. I find myself sorting through scraps and actually spending time thinking about each piece-Can I use it? Will I use it? I finally had to put down some parameters on the size of scrap I need to keep. Anything that is smaller than 1″ can get tossed (actually, it goes into the recycle bag for drop off at the paper recycling bin in town). Unless it is a long, narrow (3/4″ or so in width) piece that could be used as a border. Pieces of ribbon less than an 1″ in length usually get tossed.
So, long story short, I had this strip of 6 “stencil” hearts that I punched out of Everyday Enchantment DSP for use on another project. This strip has been sitting on my work table for days just begging to be used on another card. So, I cut the strip of 6 down to a strip of 3 (the remaining 3 will probably be used too!) to create this card.
Very simple layout, but one of my favorites!
