Friendly Silhouettes Acrylic Watercolor Background

Here’s an easy, any occasion card made using the Acrylic Watercolor Background Technique, paired with Friendly Silhouettes Die.

I tapped Night of Navy, Petal Pink, and Rococco Rose inks on my clear block “F”.

I spritzed the block with water, letting the ink run and pool.

Then, I stamped it on watercolor paper, letting it set for a few seconds.

I lifted the block and set the piece aside to dry.

The reeds were cut out of Night of Navy card stock using my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and Friendly Silhouettes Die.

I added it to the watercolor background using a piece of Adhesive Strip to pop it up.

The dragonflies were also cut out of Night of Navy card stock using Friendly Silhouettes and popped up using Mini Dimensionals.

The card front is attached to a Petal Pink mat, then attached to a Night of Navy card base.

I added glimmer dots to complete.

I decided not to add a greeting.

We’ll see what comes up and what the card might be used for!
