Handmade Happiness-August Caring by Card Postcards

For my August Caring by Card postcards, I reached for an assortment of retired stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, cardstock, and embellishments to create a cheerful collection of handmade greetings.
Rather than follow a single design, I mixed and matched colors, patterns, textures, and techniques, allowing each postcard to develop its own unique personality.
Creating postcards for the Caring by Card Network has become one of my favorite monthly projects. I enjoy spreading a little kindness while giving retired Stampin’ Up! products and well-loved supplies a new purpose. It’s a rewarding way to combine creativity with compassion.
Because postcards require fewer layers and materials than traditional cards, they come together quickly and make batch crafting easy. Their slim size also lets me tuck several into a single mailing, making it simple to send a variety of cheerful designs.
If you have a growing collection of handmade cards or enjoy experimenting with new techniques, consider donating a few through a program like Caring by Card. It’s a meaningful way to share your creativity, encourage someone you may never meet, and brighten a mailbox with a heartfelt, handmade greeting.
