Sympathy Card

Using Jar of Flowers stamp set

Unfortunately, I needed to send another sympathy card.

A long-time resident of our small community passed away recently.

I wanted to send flowers, but instead, decided to make a jar of flowers in a card using the stamp set Jar of Flowers and coordinating Jar Punch.

The jar was punched out of watercolor paper that had been lightly sponged with Pool Party ink.

The flowers and greeting were stamped on watercolor paper using Memento Black ink.

Stampin’ Blends were used to color the flowers and stems.   The flowers were fussy cut using a pair of scissors.

For the background, I spritzed the watercolor card front with water, then added Purple Posy ink refill using a water painter.

The pearls were colored with a black Sharpie pen.
