We were fooled again!
We thought spring had arrived here in the mountains of southern Colorado. After a few days of warmth and sunshine, we are now experiencing cool, misty/rainy/snowy weather.
This card reminds me of the scenery as I look out my living room window.
Wintery looking!
To create this card, I first created a mask for the moon by punching out a post-it-note using my 1 3/4″ circle punch. I laid the circle mask on my Very Vanilla card front and sponged around it using Soft Suede ink. I then removed the mask. I stamped the pine trees from the stamp set Lovely as a Tree using Soft Suede ink, first at full strength and then again without reinking. I then stamped the trees again using Black Archival ink, again at full strength, then again without reinking. I added a torn strip of Soft Suede card stock to the bottom and tied on a piece of Black Baker’s Twine.
Easy, easy!
