The swap card theme for our May Stamp Club was “friendship” with a twist. We were to use the Owl Builder Punch for our creations.
Here is my swap card:
I found this idea on Pinterest and knew I had to create my own little black cat!
I created a mask for the moon by punching out a post-it-note using my 1 3/8″ circle punch. I laid the mask on my Shimmery White card front and sponged around it using Sahara Sand ink.
The fence was created by punching out Shimmery White card stock using my Word Window punch. I used the Owl Builder punch to create the cat out of Basic Black card stock. To create more cat-like ears, I simply snipped the ears at an angle using a pair of scissors. The tail was cut free hand and a black marker was used to draw in the whiskers. The greeting is from a new stamp called Sitting Here which will be in the upcoming 2016-2017 catalog.
Fun, fun!
