Pigment Sprinkles Honey Bee

Pigment sprinkles

The Honey Bee Bundle found in the 2020 Mini Catalog just makes me smile!

This was a quick and easy card to make using Pigment Sprinkles for the background.

I spritzed a piece of watercolor paper with water, then sprinkled on Mango Melody with a small amount of Daffodil Delight Pigment Sprinkles.  I let the color run and pool, then dabbed the excess off with a paper towel.

I cut two of the honeycomb pieces out of Whisper White card stock using the Big Shot and Detailed Bee Die.

Once the background was dry, I attached the honeycomb pieces using a small amount of Tombow Multi-purpose Glue.

The bee was stamped on a piece of scrap watercolor paper using Memento Black ink and the Stamparatus.

Then, I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

I used my Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker to color the bee’s body, and a sponge to add Crushed Curry ink around the edges.

The greeting was stamped using Black Memento ink and the Stamparatus.

The card front was matted to Basic Black, then attached to a Crushed Curry card base.

The bee was added using a Dimensional to pop it up.
