We have a platform with steps going down towards the creek that runs through our property. It was here when we moved in 9 years ago. It’s kind of odd, and the placement on the property is a little strange, but we’ve grown to like it. We don’t use the steps, so every summer, I plant flowers in pots and place them on the steps. Mixed in is my collection of quirky metal yard art animals.
This year, I thought to myself, “this looks like the critters have gathered for a garden party.”
So, I thought I needed to create a little garden party sign.
I spray painted a piece of scrap wood. Then, I cut out the letters and butterflies out of See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper using my Big Shot, Large Letters and Butterfly Dies.
I glued them to the wood using Tombow Multi-purpose Glue, then sprayed a sealant over the whole thing.
My husband attached the sign to the bottom step using screws.
Easy and fun!
