Silly Safari Spins Some Valentine Fun!
I love making interactive cards for our grandkids, and with Valentine’s Day coming up, I couldn’t resist pulling out the retired Give It a Whirl Dies.
I paired them with the Silly Safari stamp set to create a fun, whirly-twirly Valentine.
I stamped and colored the animal images on the dial using Memento Black and Real Red, along with watercolor pencils.
For the card front and heart, I shopped my stash, using retired black-and-white DSP and Red Glimmer Paper.
A red-and-white polka dot brad—also from my stash—was the perfect finishing touch for the spinning mechanism.
The greeting was designed in Pages and printed on regular printer paper.
Inside the card, I stamped the leaves from Silly Safari in Memento Black, along with a greeting and hearts from Bee My Valentine in Real Red.
