As a birthday present to myself, I purchased the set of Serif Essentials Alphabet dies for the Big Shot.  I’ve had so much fun creating personalized cards and scrap book pages using the dies.

For this project, I glued assorted pieces of Patterns Pack Designer Series Paper (level 1 hostess gift) to pieces of cardboard.  I actually used a piece of cardboard that comes as part of the packaging for the regular 12 x 12 packets of Designer Series Paper.  I just used SNAIL adhesive to glue the paper to the cardboard.  By using the cardboard, it raises the letters, adding a little more dimension to the project. I then ran the pieces through the Big Shot and attached to textured black card stock before inserting into a discounted frame from Hobby Lobby.

The butterflies were made using Beautiful Butterflies die, layered and attached with Dimensionals.

Oh, and this was my card for the April Stamp Clubs.  The theme was “Spring!”

18 cards x 6 letters each.  I cut out a lot of letters!  Thank goodness for the Big Shot!
