Stampin’ Blends-Color Your Own Glimmer Paper

Stampin’ Blends!

How to Color Your Own Glimmer Paper!

Sometimes, you just need a custom-colored piece of Glimmer Paper.

You know, a glimmery piece of paper to exactly match the project you’re working on.

Adding your own colors to glimmer paper is easy when using Stampin’ Blends.

Be Dazzling Glimmer Paper

Here’s How:

For this card, I used the Sale-A-Bration Be Dazzling Glimmer paper.  Unfortunately, this paper is no longer available, but any glimmer (or acetate) paper will work.

1. Start by cutting 6 strips of the glimmer paper measuring 3 1/2″ x 1/2″.

2. Color each strip using Stampin’ Blends.  The Stampin’ Blends are alcohol-based, so the color goes on easily, permanently, and dries quickly.

For this card, I used Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay, Lovely Lipstick (retired In Color, use Melon Mambo or Magenta Madness), Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green.

That’s it, done!  So easy, and the possibilities are endless!

3. Finish the card:

-stamp greeting from Snowflake Wishes stamp set on scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Gorgeous Grape ink.  Stamp snowflakes using Bermuda Bay ink.

-cut greeting out using Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and Painted Labels Die.

-sponge Gorgeous Grape along the edges of the die-cut.

-Attach glimmer strips to Basic White card base.

-Add label using Dimensionals to pop it up.

-Add 2021-2023 In Color Jewels for bling to complete.
