Sunshine, Sand & Summer Smiles

Smiles Across The Miles Card:
For this card, I paired the vintage van from the Under the Sun Mix & Match Ephemera Pack with scenic background paper from the Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper collection. To reinforce the travel theme, I added the die-cut sun from the Sunset Coast Dies, creating a warm and cheerful backdrop for the van.
To personalize the design, I created a custom license plate by selectively inking and stamping the word “Happy” from the Happy Retirement greeting in the Sunset Coast Stamp Set. I finished the card with the Smiles Across the Miles sentiment and coordinating banner from the retired Sending Smiles Stamp Set and Dies, adding a heartfelt touch perfect for sending happy wishes across the distance.
Hello Beach Card:
For this card, I used a cloudy sky template that I created years ago with a scallop circle die and punch.

First, I blended Bubble Bath and Balmy Blue inks around the scalloped edges using Blending Brushes to create soft, fluffy clouds. Next, I added a sandy shoreline by blending Crumb Cake ink along the middle of the card front and stamping Pecan Pie speckles from the Country Birdhouse stamp set for extra texture and interest. To complete the beach scene, I blended Lost Lagoon ink to represent the water.
Once the background was finished, I arranged the beach-themed stickers from the Under the Sun Mix & Match Ephemera Pack to build the focal scene. Finally, I stamped the “Hello” greeting from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set to complete this cheerful seaside design.
