Woodworker’s Masculine Themed Card
for our son’s birthday!
Our son, Kris, is a woodworker. He makes beautiful wood products such as cutting and charcuterie boards.
His wife Pam makes fun wooden puzzles.
They work out of their garage, and the whole family gets in on the action with the finishing and packaging of the products.
He and Pam frequent arts and crafts shows around Southern Colorado, and they have built up a nice business doing something that they love!

Kris’ birthday is coming up, and I decided to create a card for him that highlights his woodworking passion using retired Wood Textures Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!
I have several sheets of this retired paper, so this is a great way to make a masculine themed card while using some of my stash.
Woodworker’s Masculine Themed Card How To:
1.Cut 1″ wide strips of Designer Series Paper. The Wood Textures DSP is 6″x6″, so the strips measured 1″ x 6″.
2. Attach the strips on a card stock base in a diagonal pattern. It doesn’t matter what color of card stock you use for the base as it will be trimmed and not seen.
3.Trim the edges of the strips to match the card base as needed.
4. Stamp greeting from Heartfelt Hellos on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock using Early Espresso ink. Heartfelt Hellos is a Sale-A-Bration choice. Remember during Sale-A-Bration, for every $50 spent, you’ll earn product out of the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
5.Banner cut the ends of the greeting. Die-cut or punch backing out of Early Espresso card stock. I used the retired Label punch for this card. Attach greeting to backing, and then attach to the card front using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.
6. Attach 2023-2025 In Color Dots to complete.
