This is a super easy, fun fold to create!

I paired the fold with the Zany Zoo stamp set, coordinating Zany Zoo Dies and Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper to create a happy birthday scene!

Zany Zoo Fun Fold How To:

Paper Measurements:

Basic White card Base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″, and 6 1/2″

Side Panels: (Subtles 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper): 2 @ 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

Center Panel (Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper): 2″ x 5 1/4″

  1. Cut and score card base and panels using the instructions above.
  2. Fold card base along the score lines: valley fold, mountain fold, mountain fold, valley fold.
  3. Attach panels to sides and center.
  4. Die-cut alligator out of Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper using the coordinating Zany Zoo die.  Die cut balloons out of Crushed Curry, Highland Heather, and Melon Mambo card stock.
  5. Cut slits in Granny Apple Green card stock to create grass.
  6. Attach a piece of Baker’s Twine (black and white from my stash) to the alligator’s arms.  Attach the alligator to the center panel using Mini Dimensionals to pop him up.  Attach the twine using liquid or multi-purpose glue.  Cut smaller lengths of the twine and attach to the panel’s upper section for the balloons.  Attach the balloons using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.  Tie a bow and attach it to the center using a Glue Dot to hide where the strings meet.
  7. Attach the grass to the bottom of the panel using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.
  8. Stamp greeting from Zany Zoo on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Memento Black ink.  Die-cut or punch using a 1″ circle punch.  Attach to the right-side panel using a Mini Dimensional to pop it up.
  9. Attach pearls to the balloons and center panel to complete.

The possibilities are endless!
