I recently created a bunch of these quick and simple cards to send out as thank you’s.
I simply embossed copper roof flashing using my Big Shot and Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.
The flashing comes in a 12″ x 20 ‘ roll and can be found in the roofing section of most home improvement stores. I purchased mine at our local Home Depot in Canon City, CO for approx 32.00 with tax. It is a little expensive, but you get plenty of flashing to use in many projects. It is easy to cut with scissors (I use my Stampin’ Up! rubber and craft scissors) and easy to emboss using the Big Shot. It has a cardboard backing, almost like heavy-weight paper that does not peel off the flashing.
The greeting was stamped on a scrap piece of flashing using Stazon, then punched out using my Word Window punch. The punches will easily punch through the flashing as well.
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Black Stazon
Paper: Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, Word Window and Modern Label punches, Dimensionals, copper roof flashing

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your card and the source of the copper.
Hi, Thank you for your kind words. I used Dimensionals to attach the copper flashing to the card stock. The Dimensionals also pop up the flashing for a little more interest. Glue Dots would work too. Regular dispenser type adhesives don’t really work very well with the cardboard backing on the flashing. Happy crafting!
This is a very nice project. I was just wondering how you adhered the flashing to the card stock.
What did you use to stick them together
