Spiral Dye Cupcake

I’ve always loved tie-dye!

The mix and swirls of color.

It always brings a smile.

Tie-dye card making is easy using the Spiral Dye stamp from Stampin’ Up!

I paired the Spiral Dye stamp with the new Circle Sayings stamp set.

Here’s a written tutorial with tips on how to use the Spiral Dye stamp.

and,

Here’s a short video on how to use the Spiral Dye stamp.

You can also see more of my Spiral Dye cards with different color combinations used HERE

Here’s How:

  1. Place Spiral Dye stamp on Stamparatus or other stamp positioning tool.  Ink with the first color (Blackberry Bliss) and stamp on Basic White card front. Repeat as needed to get a good, inked image.
  2. Turn the paper 180 degrees and stamp the image with the second color (Fresh Freesia).
  3. For the third color (Azure Afternoon), move the paper down 1/8″ of an inch, ink, and stamp.
  4. Stamp “Celebrate” circle and cupcake from Circle Sayings using Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White card stock.
  5. Color cupcake using Fresh Freesia and Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Markers
  6. Die-cut or punch.  I used my Sunburst circle punch. Die-cut or punch circle mat.  I used my 2 3/8″ circle punch out of Azure Afternoon card stock.  Layer the circles.
  7. Attach Spiral Dye card front to Fresh Freesia mat.  Attach to Azure Afternoon card base.
  8. Attach matted circle using Mini Dimensionals to pop it up.
