Inspirational Sketches for CAS Challenge
This week on the CAS Sunday #303 Sketch Challenge, it’s all about a fresh sketch layout!
I had so much fun bringing this design to life using the Inspirational Sketches stamp set, Country Woods DSP, and a simple office supply tag from my stash.
The combination of rustic woodgrain and delicate sketch-style stamping creates a beautifully balanced clean and simple (CAS) card.
Sketch challenges are a great way to spark creativity and try new layouts.
Check out my take on the challenge and get inspired to create your own!
Inspirational Sketches CAS Challenge How-To:
1. For the tag
-swipe Early Espresso ink on the inside of Metal Plate Embossing Folder. Insert tag into folder and emboss.
2. Stamp image from Inspirational Sketches on Basic White card stock using Early Espresso ink. Color the tips of the flowers using Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker. Punch using 2 1/4″ circle punch.
3. Attach stamped image to 2 1/2″ Early Espresso circle mat.
4. Banner cut the ends of 2 strips of Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
5. Attach DSP to Basic White card base. Attach tag, then stamped image. Add a Pool Party embellishment to the circle opening at the top of the tag to complete.
I may add a greeting below in the space below the bottom strip, but for now, I stuck to the sketch challenge!
