This is my contribution to this week’s Merry Monday “A Year in Review: Any Past Sketch” Challenge.
Get some ink on your fingers and create this simple Christmas tree!
I drew the lines for the Christmas tree using a ruler and Sharpie pen. Then inked up the tips of my fingers and “stamped!” What fun! Colors used were Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, and Summer Starfruit stamp pads.
I am so grateful to have found the Merry Monday challenge site. A Christmas card challenge is posted weekly to help us get a jump start by making Christmas cards throughout the year. Although I did not participate in every sketch this year, I did end up with a stash of 25 or so Christmas cards that were done and ready to be mailed out. It really helped reduce the Christmas card rush usually found during the holiday season!
For this week’s challenge, we could choose any of the past Merry Monday sketches. Here is the sketch I chose: Merry Monday #28
Supplies Used (all supplies are Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamp Set: Four the Holidays
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Summer Starfruit
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: fingerprints! Sharpie pen (non SU!), ruler
