One Layer Untouched Landscapes for Color Dare #705
For this week’s Color Dare Challenge, I worked with Balmy Blue, Crushed Curry, and Granny Apple Green—a fresh and cheerful combination.
I reached for my new favorite stamp set, Untouched Landscapes from Stampin’ Up!, and challenged myself to create a one-layer card.
One-layer cards can be deceptively tricky. Without layers or embellishments, every stamped element needs to carry its weight.
To create this one layer design, I made a square stencil from grid paper using a square die, then secured it to a Basic White card base using washi tape.
I stamped the landscape images within the opening using the challenge colors, adding Crumb Cake as a neutral for the mountains. I finished the card by stamping a greeting from Opulent Oasis in Balmy Blue.
