Quilled Chocolates

When the ladies of Wetmore asked me to teach a quilling class, I instantly knew what project we would do.  Quilled chocolates with a coordinating gift box!

All quilling shapes start as a circle and then can be pinched into various shapes.  For the chocolates, make a tight circle, glue the ends and then push out the center.  To make color combinations in the same coil, glue 2-3 12″ strips end to end and quill as normal.  Or you can make individual coils and glue them one on top of the other.  Add small pieces of curled quilling paper to the top for sprinkles.

Don’t forget to add the nutritional label to the back of box sleeve.  These chocolates have 0 Calories and 0 Fat but are handcrafted with 100% Love! I created the labels as a Word document and then printed out on 2″x4″ address labels.

Quilling supplies: quilling tool, assorted colors of 1/8″ quilling paper, glue

Box supplies:

Stamp Set: Pretty Postage

Ink: various color makers

Paper: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Nursery Suite Specialty Designer Paper (retired)

Accessories: Big Shot, Matchbox die, Postage Stamp punch, Pretty in Pink  or Early Espresso 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon, paper inserts, computer, 2″x4″ label, Dimensionals
