Paper birds 001

These little beauties were made using Tea Party Designer Series Paper, assorted brads for the eyes and paper clips for their feet.

Trace two birds onto colorful paper and cut out.  Trace pattern on back side of paper so you don’t see your pencil lines on the front. Be sure to turn pattern over to trace out the back side of the bird so the front and back pieces match/face the same direction when you put them together.

Open and straighten out one end of two paper clips.  Attach to the inside of the bird using scotch tape.

Add a brad or eyelet for an eye on the front side of the bird. Adhere the two bird pieces together using SNAIL or mono adhesive.  Be sure to put a little extra adhesive where the feet are as this part will be bulky between the two pieces.

Use as table decorations or embellishments for packages.  Or take make the bird minus the feet and hang in a mobile.  Wouldn’t that be too cute??

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
