Wild About Flowers Acrylic Block Background-Nacho Average Challenge #156

I really like the colors for this week’s Nacho Average color challenge:

NAC 156Reminds me of fall!

Here’s my contribution:

Wild about flowers 010

For this card, I inked up one of my acrylic blocks by gently tapping on the challenge colors, spritzed the inks with water and stamped the block on watercolor paper.  I let it sit for a few seconds so the paper could absorb the ink.  I lifted up the block and set the paper aside to dry for a few minutes. I then stamped one of the images from Wild about Flowers using Blackberry Bliss ink.  The greeting is from Wish Big (Paper Pumpkin) and is stamped in Bermuda Bay.  Easy, easy!

Supplies Used:

Stamp Sets: Wild about Flowers, Wish Big

Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Bermuda Bay

Paper: Blackberry Bliss, watercolor

Accessories: acrylic block, spritzer bottle with water

  1. This looks so pretty! I think the parts where the paper didn’t absorb the ink add a bit of texture to the pretty watercolor background. Thanks for playing along with the Nachos!

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
