Wonderland Watercolor Sunrise-Nacho Average Color Challenge #162

We hope you’ll join us for this week’s Nacho Average color challenge!

NAC162

Here’s my contribution:

Wonderland 002

This card was inspired by the sunrises we see outside of our bedroom window.  Our bedroom is on the 2nd floor, so the view is through the tree tops.  A great way to start the day for sure!

I started by water coloring Marina Mist and Tangelo Twist on a piece of watercolor paper using an Aqua Painter.  I let it dry completely before moving onto the next step.  I then inked up the trees from Wonderland using Garden Green ink, spritzed it lightly with water and then stamped.  The ink ran giving a fuzzy outline of the trees.  Once that dried, I inked up the trees again full strength and over-stamped the water colored images.

I watched the videos and realized how to do a shaker card. Pretty cool. The bubble wrap card is so much fun. The blue really stands out in each card. I like your videos. You get right to the card instructions. Great creative ideas. -D Welch
